These black handle covers slip onto pots, pans and cast-iron skillets to shield hands from hot metal. Heat Resistance Up To 450 Degrees

The fabric protects hands from handle temperatures up to 450 °F (232 °C) during normal cooking tasks. The supplier advises not to leave the covers on handles hotter than this limit for longer than one hour and never to place them directly on an open flame. Under sustained oven or stove-top heat within the rated range the material remains stable and continues to insulate the grip. Machine washing does not reduce the stated heat resistance.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw In Normal Use

As passive fabric sleeves the covers generate no noise and draw no power. They add negligible weight to the cookware and do not affect the thermal performance of the pan itself. The 5.9 by 3.15 inch dimensions with a 2.36 by .78 inch maximum opening fit skillets over 10.5 inches securely; smaller handles may feel loose.
