Auto-detection handles 480i, 576i, 720p and 1080i/p at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz across SMPTE 259, 274, 292, 296, 372, 424 and 425 standards. The unit does not accept RF, CVBS, AHD, TVI, CVI or antenna sources and it cannot process UHD 4K signals.

Installation and common issues

Power comes from a USB DC 5 V 1 A adapter included in the box; connect the BNC input, HDMI display and optional SDI loop-out, then apply power. Long cable runs are supported up to 300 ft for 3G-SDI, 500 ft for HD-SDI and 1000 ft for SD-SDI. The converter is one-direction only and will not work for HDMI-to-SDI conversion.
