What it is

ESKONKE 272 Red is a high-strength anaerobic thread locker supplied as a red liquid in a 50 ml bottle. It secures metal fasteners up to M32 against loosening caused by vibration or shock and simultaneously seals threads to prevent corrosion and leakage. The product is intended for mechanics, maintenance engineers and hobbyists who need permanent locking on automotive, motorcycle, bicycle, appliance or industrial assemblies.

When to choose it

The compound replaces mechanical locking devices such as washers, lock nuts or wire locking on threads up to M32 where disassembly is not required. It is worth the jump when a joint must stay tight in extreme vibration, humidity or temperature cycling and when the added cost of specialty hardware is undesirable. It is not for applications that need removable fasteners, low-strength locking or sealing of non-metallic materials.

Under sustained load

Once applied, the adhesive begins to cure in 10 minutes and reaches full strength after 24 hours, forming a rigid bond that resists continuous vibration, thermal cycling and chemical exposure without relaxing. The anaerobic formulation remains stable in the bottle because the fill level leaves an air space, ensuring consistent performance throughout the service life of the assembly.
