Dual-bay adapter for 3.5-inch slots

This EN-Labs kit converts a single 3.5-inch internal drive bay into a mount for two 2.5-inch SATA SSDs or hard drives. It fits any desktop case that provides at least one standard 3.5-inch bay and includes all screws required for both the drives and the bracket itself. Builders adding solid-state storage to older chassis can use the bracket without modification. The package also supplies a 4-pin Molex to dual 15-pin SATA power splitter so both drives share one power connector.

Supports 7 mm and 9.5 mm drive heights

The bracket accepts standard 2.5-inch drives measuring either 7 mm or 9.5 mm thick, covering the vast majority of consumer SATA SSDs and laptop hard drives. Drives exceeding 9.5 mm will not seat correctly in the tray. Each drive connects through its own 18-inch SATA data cable; one cable is straight-to-straight and the other is straight-to-90-degree for routing flexibility. The SATA interface operates at up to 6 Gbps and remains backward compatible with SATA I and II devices.

Metal construction dissipates heat under sustained

The black metal bracket acts as a heat spreader, helping to draw warmth away from both drives during prolonged write operations or continuous server workloads. Secure screw mounting keeps the drives firmly in place, preventing vibration-induced errors when the system runs for extended periods. The included power splitter and data cables are rated for the full 6 Gbps throughput, so sustained transfers are not bottlenecked by the harness. Drives thicker than 9.5 mm or non-SATA interfaces cannot be used with this adapter.
