The EMEET C950 is a 1080p 30FPS webcam that connects through a USB 2.0 port. It includes a built-in microphone and a physical privacy cover that slides across the lens. The fixed-focus lens has a 70° field of view and is intended for one person sitting 0.5 to 1.2 metres from the camera.

Step up from 720p built-in cameras

This model replaces a 720p 30FPS laptop camera with a 1080p 30FPS image and adds a hardware privacy cover. The upgrade is worth it when you need clearer video for calls and a simple way to block the lens between meetings. It does not suit users who need a wider angle for group shots or 4K resolution.

Handles solo calls and streaming at 1080p 30FPS

The camera comfortably handles video conferencing, online classes and basic streaming at 1080p 30FPS with YUY2 or MJPEG encoding. Low-light correction helps in average indoor lighting. It runs out of headroom in dim rooms, at distances beyond 1.2 metres or when a wider field of view is required.
