This Grade 2 cylindrical lockset provides privacy function for bed and bath doors. The polished brass US3 finish resists corrosion, and the angled lever includes a cushion for comfortable grip. It operates with a 2-3/4 inch backset and fits wood or metal doors from 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches thick. No outside post construction simplifies installation on new or retrofit projects.

Suitable For ADA And Barrier-Free Access

The lever travels up to 50 degrees and meets ADA requirements for accessible operation. Separate spring mechanisms prevent arm sag when the lever is held horizontal. Buyers who need an entry or passage function should look at a different lockset, and those requiring a keyed cylinder must choose another model since this unit has no cylinder.

2-3/4 Inch Backset Determines Fit

The backset measurement decides whether this lock aligns with existing door prep. It includes a 1-1/8 inch strike plate and adjustable front for flat or beveled doors. A 2 inch clearance from lever to door surface is required, and the lever returns to within 3/8 inch of the door face. The solid brass latchbolt has a 1/2 inch throw and is reversible for right or left hand doors.
