20-input Mercury control module

The Lenel LNL-1100-20DI is an M Series input control module that adds twenty supervised alarm points to a Mercury-based access system. It connects to an LNL-3300-M5 or LNL-8000-MCOM controller through an RS-485 backplane and draws 165 mA at 12 VDC. The module is designed to retrofit into legacy CASI controller enclosures using existing field wiring plugs. Each input requires one twisted-pair cable with a maximum loop resistance of 30 ohms.

Who this suits and who it does not

Installers expanding an OnGuard system with authentic Mercury hardware will find this module a direct, plug-compatible replacement for the CASI 20DI. Sites that do not already run an LNL-3300-M5 or LNL-8000-MCOM backplane cannot power or communicate with the unit. Buyers needing relay outputs or unsupervised inputs must select a different module type.

If the project calls for exactly twenty monitored alarm circuits and the site has a compatible Mercury controller backplane, this module satisfies the requirement.
