The Edifier Gammatera G2 is a wired gaming headset built around 40 mm neodymium magnet drivers with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a sound pressure level of 98 dB. It connects via separate 3.5 mm plugs for audio and microphone, making it suitable for PCs and consoles that provide dual 3.5 mm ports. The 45 ohm impedance allows it to be driven directly by most controller or motherboard outputs.

Velvet earpads and inline analog controls

The headset weighs 278 g and uses velvet skin earmuffs with leather accents for comfort during long sessions. A single-sided 2.0 m red cable routes to an inline module that carries an analog volume wheel and a microphone mute switch. The boom microphone is adjustable and can be positioned close to the mouth or swung away when not needed.

Check for dual 3.5 mm jacks or a splitter

This headset terminates in two straight 3.5 mm connectors — one for stereo output and one for the microphone. Devices with a single combined headset jack will require a Y-splitter cable, which is not included.
