Threading tool for 1"-40 pipe

This Drill America round adjustable die cuts external threads on 1"-40 pipe and tubing using high-speed steel for extended wear life. The die is chamfered on both faces with a 2 to 3 thread lead on one side and a 1 to 1-1/2 thread lead on the other for threading close to a shoulder. A fine-pitch adjustment screw controls the thread fit by forcing the die sides apart or allowing them to spring together. The beveled slot permits holder-based adjustment when the screw is removed.
