What This Battery Replaces

The Dr. Battery MPL16232P-22 is a 6-cell lithium-ion replacement rated at 10.8V and 4400 mAh. It fits a wide range of Toshiba Satellite models including the A660, A665, C645D, C650, C650D, C655, C655D, L510, L515, M500, M505, M645, P745, P750, P755, P755D, P770, P770D, P775, P775D and U405 series. It also covers C670, C670D, C675, L600, C875, C875D, L70-A, L70-B, L70D, L70D-A, L75 and L75-B chassis. Buyers who need a higher capacity pack or a different voltage cannot use this unit.

Installation Notes

The pack is a direct slide-in replacement that uses the original latch mechanism; no tools are required beyond releasing the battery lock. A built-in smart control chip manages charging current and provides short-circuit, overheat and overload protection. The most common issue is ordering the wrong part number, so verify the original battery label against the listed PABAS260, PABAS261, PABAS262, PABAS263, PABAS274, PA5023U-1BRS and PA5024U-1BRS codes before fitting. If the latch does not engage fully, the battery will not charge.

Confirm that your laptop model appears in the compatibility list above and that the original battery shows 10.8V output. Match the part number on your existing pack to one of the PABAS or PA codes supplied. The replacement carries a 48 Wh rating and a one-year manufacturer warranty from 2020.
