The single specification that determines fit is the USB 2.0 interface combined with USB Video Device Class (UVC) operation. This allows driver-free use on Windows 7/8/10 or later, macOS 10.6 or above, Android 5.0 or above and Linux 2.6.26 or above. If your system lacks a USB 2.0 port or runs an older OS not listed, the camera will not function. Buyers who need higher bandwidth interfaces such as USB 3.0 or SDI connectivity should look elsewhere.

Plug-and-play setup with fixed cable

Installation is plug-and-play: connect the single USB 2.0 cable to a compatible port and the device is recognised immediately without driver installation. The integrated cable cannot be replaced, so cable damage means replacing the whole unit. The microphone uses PCM audio with noise reduction and echo cancellation, but it cannot be swapped for an external mic. The memory card slot accepts VHS-C media only, which is an obsolete format and effectively unusable for modern storage.
