This SL3-SWM low-noise block converter combines a triple LNB and a single-wire multiswitch in one housing. It is built for DIRECTV subscribers who want to distribute satellite signals to multiple tuners without running separate cables from each LNB. The unit mounts on a Slimline dish and provides a single output for the whole system.

Built-in single wire multiswitch changes cabling

The integrated multiswitch lets one coaxial run carry several independent streams to compatible receivers or a SWM splitter. Installers no longer need an external multiswitch or four separate down-leads from the dish. A separate 21 volt power inserter is required to supply the LNB and multiswitch, and it is sold separately.

Receives 99, 101, 103 degree satellites

Three orbital positions are captured simultaneously, delivering the full DIRECTV Ku and Ka bandwidth for standard and high-definition channels. The single output limits the number of tuners to the capacity of the SWM architecture, so very large whole-home systems may need additional infrastructure. Any single-output DIRECTV LNB can replace this model if the dish alignment is unchanged.
