Universal 90 W adapter with 16 tips

This 90 W universal AC adapter ships with 16 interchangeable tips covering barrel sizes from 4.8 × 1.7 mm up to 11 × 5 mm. It supports output voltages of 15 V, 16 V, 19 V, 19.5 V and 20 V at up to 4.5 A, making it suitable for HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Toshiba, Samsung, Sony, Fujitsu, Gateway and Acer notebooks. The unit accepts 100–240 V input at 50–60 Hz for worldwide use. It is not intended for devices that require more than 90 W or proprietary connectors outside the supplied tip range.

Thermals noise and power draw

Under normal office loads the adapter runs at its rated 85 W output with the built-in corded design and meets UL, CE and FCC safety marks. The external brick stays warm but not hot during typical charging of 45 W, 65 W or 90 W laptops. No fan is present so operation is silent, and the 20 V 11.8 A input rating reflects the maximum draw from the mains.

Units rated for 85 W continuous output handle prolonged sessions without overheating, though they are not designed for loads above the 90 W ceiling.
