Practical limits of the built-in interface

The USB connection handles stereo input and output for basic computer integration but does not expose multichannel routing to the host. Bluetooth audio is limited to standard wireless playback quality and range, so critical monitoring should use the wired outputs. The 99 DSP effects share a single processor, meaning only one effect algorithm can be active per channel at a time. Phantom power is globally switched, so dynamic and condenser microphones cannot be mixed on the same power setting.

Replaces separate interface.

This mixer consolidates a USB audio interface, a hardware effects processor and a playback device into one desktop unit. The jump is worthwhile when you need XLR mic preamps, phantom power and instant effect selection without patching multiple boxes.
