Red Double Coated Transfer Tape

This case contains sixteen rolls of red double coated adhesive transfer tape designed for core starts, envelope closures, nameplates and decorative parts. Each roll measures three inches wide by sixty yards long with a two mil thickness. The unsupported solvent acrylic adhesive conforms to irregular surfaces while resisting humidity, most solvents and UV light. It is suited for high temperature splicing applications.

Capacity and headroom

Each roll provides sixty yards of continuous length for extended production runs before changeover. The adhesive delivers twenty three ounces per inch of adhesion with zero percent elongation for dimensional stability. It maintains performance across a temperature range from minus twenty two to two hundred thirty degrees Fahrenheit. Zero tensile strength means the tape is not designed for structural load bearing.

Build and mounting

The transfer tape format has no carrier film, so the adhesive layer bonds directly between substrates. A solvent acrylic system gives very high quick stick and excellent holding power on virtually any surface. This construction supports flying splices at full line speed to reduce downtime. The red colour aids visual identification during application and inspection.
