General Purpose Kraft Flatback Tape

This general purpose kraft flatback tape is designed for box sealing, reinforcing paper bags and boxes, and patching or covering used cartons. It uses a rubber adhesive application and meets Government Spec PPP-T-42C Type II. The case contains 24 rolls, each measuring 2 inches wide by 60 yards long. It suits packing stations and shipping departments that need reliable carton closure.

Hand dispenser or automatic case sealer compatible

The tape works with both hand dispensers and automatic case sealers, fitting into existing packing lines without new equipment. Its 7 mil thickness and 36 lbs/in tensile strength provide strong holding power for sealed boxes. The 60 oz/in adhesion level keeps flaps secure during transit. This construction frees operators from frequent re-taping or reinforcement.

Replaces weaker paper or film tapes

The tape upgrades from lighter paper or film tapes that tear or lose grip under load. The jump is worth it when cartons face temperature swings from 40 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, or when resistance to aging, solvents and water is required. The 7% elongation allows some stretch without snapping. It is not for buyers who need a pressure-sensitive tape with a different adhesive chemistry or a non-kraft backing.
