Double-coated tissue tape for industrial splicing

This 3-inch by 60-yard double-coated tissue tape uses an acrylic adhesive system suited to corrugator splicing, automatic business-form application and flying splices in print production. The roll handles mounting of plastic parts, heavy-weight substrates and difficult surfaces as well as seaming leather to leather or fabric. A case contains 16 rolls for continuous high-volume use.

Capacity and temperature headroom

Each roll delivers 54 ounces per inch of adhesion and 5.5 pounds per inch of tensile strength while measuring 5.1 mil thick with 3 percent elongation. The acrylic adhesive remains functional across a 32 to 302 degree Fahrenheit range, giving headroom for heat-printing processes and elevated ambient conditions. Limits appear when substrates exceed the adhesion or tensile values or when temperatures fall outside the stated window.

Supplying 16 rolls in one case reduces change-over frequency on automatic applicators and supports uninterrupted runs in corrugating and print-finishing lines.
