Double Coated Foam Tape for Mounting

This double coated foam cross linked poly tape is designed for manufacturing bathroom deodorizers, joining, mounting, gasketing and splicing tasks. It provides a thick cushioning layer with an extremely aggressive rubber adhesive suited for demanding mounting applications. The tape delivers high initial tack and quick stick performance on a variety of surfaces. Each roll measures 1/2" wide by 18 yards long with a 1/8" thickness.

18 Roll Case Capacity and Adhesion Limits

A single case supplies 18 rolls totalling 418 yards of tape for high volume assembly or fabrication work. The rubber adhesive offers 120 oz/in adhesion strength and only .4% elongation for minimal stretch under load. It handles continuous operating temperatures from 0° to 150° Fahrenheit without failure. The closed cell polyethylene foam construction resists compression during long term mounting jobs.

Rubber Adhesive Temperature

The aggressive rubber adhesive system remains functional across the stated 0° to 150° Fahrenheit range but is not rated beyond those limits. With only .4% elongation the tape cannot accommodate significant joint movement or thermal expansion cycles. The 1/8" foam thickness provides cushioning yet may not fill gaps exceeding its profile. Users requiring higher shear strength or chemical resistance should evaluate alternative adhesive chemistries.
