Carton-sealing tape for high-volume packing

This case supplies six rolls of 2-inch clear polypropylene tape, each 1000 yards long, giving a continuous length for sealing large quantities of cartons without frequent roll changes. Natural rubber adhesive bonds quickly to corrugated board and holds through normal shipping stresses. The tape is suited to warehouses, fulfilment centres and any operation that seals dozens of boxes per day.

Capacity and headroom

At 2 mil thickness the tape handles standard single-wall and double-wall cartons with a tensile strength of 31 lbs/in and adhesion of 23 oz/in. Elongation of 102% lets the film stretch around overstuffed boxes without snapping. It remains functional across a 0 - 150 Fahrenheit range, so it will not become brittle in cold storage or soften in hot trailers, but it is not rated for extreme freezer or oven environments.

Build quality and daily use

The polypropylene backing resists splitting and unwinds smoothly on hand-held or bench dispensers. Natural rubber adhesive grabs instantly, reducing the need for multiple passes on each seam. Six rolls per case keep a packing station supplied for extended runs, though the bulk package may be excessive for occasional home use or low-volume mailrooms.
