Plug-and-Play Setup

Installation follows a standard USB or RS-232 connection to the host system with minimal driver interaction required. Common issues arise when the scanner distance or angle does not match the mark size, or when ambient light creates glare on reflective parts. Proper mounting and lighting checks resolve most first-read failures.

Direct Part Mark Constraints

The imager is optimised for Direct Part Mark symbologies rather than high-density label stacks, so very small Data Matrix codes on curved surfaces may need a different optic. Read range is fixed by the built-in lens, limiting flexibility for mixed near-and-far applications. The MARKING EVO IN feature supports specific mark verification but does not replace a dedicated vision system for complex inspection.
