9.5" Damascus hunting knife

The Damascus Depot 9.5" hunting knife is a new, full-tang skinning tool forged from 1095 and 15N20 high- and low-carbon steel. Its 4.5" drop-point blade shows a twist pattern built from over 465 layers and is hardened to 56-58 HRC. A red Micarta handle scale with brass bolster, mosaic inlay, two brass pins and a lanyard hole completes the grip. A thick cow-leather sheath with belt loop is included.

Suited for field dressing and collectors

Hunters and outdoor users who want a sturdy, full-tang blade for skinning and general camp tasks will find the hardened Damascus edge and secure sheath practical. The knife is less appropriate for buyers who need a stainless blade that tolerates long-term storage in leather without oiling, or anyone who prefers a lighter, folder-style carry knife for everyday pocket use.

4.5" blade and 56-58 HRC hardness

The 4.5" drop-point blade with approximately 5 mm thickness comfortably handles deer-sized game processing, bushcraft carving and repeated field sharpening. The high-carbon layer construction holds a keen edge through extended use but will show surface rust if not dried and oiled after each outing. Leaving the knife stored in its leather sheath for weeks invites corrosion, so the sheath is best used for carry only.
