12 oz Aerosol Foam Sealant Kit

This 12 oz aerosol foam sealant kit uses a polyurethane formulation for sealing gaps in gypsum, masonry, metal, most plastics, plaster and wood. It is designed for ceiling and wall applications where a Class A flame spread rating and a flame spread index of 5 are required. The aerosol can delivers a controlled foam stream without separate mixing equipment. Builders and maintenance crews can apply it directly from the container.

Aerosol Application Fits Tight Cavities

The aerosol delivery method lets the foam reach inside narrow wall cavities, around pipe penetrations and behind electrical boxes where bulk dispensers cannot reach. No gun or hose is needed, so the kit frees up tool-belt space and eliminates cleanup of reusable applicators. A 10 minute drying time allows rapid re-entry to the work area. Coverage reaches 409 ft of bead length for typical joint dimensions.

Polyurethane Foam Holds Shape Under Load

Once cured, the polyurethane foam maintains its seal under sustained vibration and thermal cycling in walls and ceilings. The Class A flame spread rating remains effective after prolonged exposure to building heat loads. The product is not rated for firestop systems that require a specific fire resistance period, so specifiers needing hourly ratings must choose a tested firestop assembly instead.
