This downloadable content adds the Archaeologist hunter and the Mesa Updraught Vetterli 71 Deadeye weapon to Hunt: Showdown 1896. It is intended for players who already own the base game on Steam and want new cosmetic and gameplay options. The DLC delivers a single legendary hunter skin and a matching legendary weapon variant. No other hunters, weapons, maps or modes are included.

Behaviour under sustained play

The DLC integrates directly into the existing progression and loadout systems without adding separate game modes. Once activated, the hunter and weapon appear permanently in the player's inventory for use in any standard match. Performance impact is identical to other legendary items already present in the base game. No additional background processes or launcher overhead are introduced beyond the initial Steam activation.

Compatibility checklist

A Steam account and a working installation of Hunt: Showdown 1896 on Windows 10 64-bit are required before purchase. The product key redeems through the Steam client and cannot be used on other platforms or storefronts. Minimum processor and graphics specifications for the base game still apply; this DLC does not lower those requirements. Buyers who do not yet own the base game cannot access the content.
