The CRASCAN NEXUS X is a foldable desktop holder made from lightweight aluminium alloy with silicone contact pads. It supports smartphones and small tablets up to 8 inches, including iPhone models from the 8 series through the 17 series, Galaxy handsets, Pixel devices, iPad mini and Nintendo Switch. The hook opening measures 19 mm so most protective cases can stay on the device. Weighing 2 ounces and folding to 3.54 by 2.36 by .39 inches, it slips easily into a bag pocket for travel.

Dual-Axis Folding Setup

The stand uses a dual-axis hinge that lets you set any viewing angle and then fold the unit flat for storage. No tools or assembly are required; simply unfold, adjust the angle and lean the device against the forward hooks. Stability depends on positioning the hooks as far forward as they will go because the centre of gravity is biased rearward. If the hooks are left too far back, heavier phones or tablets can tip the stand over. The silicone pads prevent scratches and add grip, but the base has no adhesive or clamping mechanism for permanent mounting.

Desktop-Only Limitations

This holder is designed for tabletop use and the supplier advises against using it in a vehicle. It accommodates devices up to roughly 8 inches, so larger tablets such as full-size iPad Pro models are not supported. The aluminium construction resists bending under normal loads, yet the stand relies on gravity and friction rather than a locking clamp, so vigorous tapping on a touchscreen may cause the device to shift. There are no charging pass-through ports or cable-management features built into the frame.
