Apollo Valve 13-511-08 Safety Relief Valve

This Apollo Valve 13-511-08 is a bronze safety relief valve designed for low-pressure steam heating and supply boilers. It features a 15 psi set pressure with a 3/4" NPT female inlet and 3/4" NPT male outlet. The flat seat uses a PTFE faced disc to ensure a positive seal. It is National Board certified and registered in all Canadian provinces and territories under CRN #0G8547.5C.

ASME Section IV Low Pressure Steam Standard

The valve conforms to ASME Section IV requirements for low pressure steam heating boilers. Its standard set pressure is fixed at 15 psig, making it suitable only for systems operating within that specific pressure limit. The three design configurations feature top guiding and raised seating area for extended service life. It is not intended for high-pressure steam or hydronic heating applications exceeding the certified rating.

15 psi Set Pressure Capacity and Headroom

This valve protects small to medium low pressure steam boilers by relieving excess pressure at the factory-set 15 psig. The positive drainage of condensate from the seat area helps maintain reliable operation over time. Systems requiring a higher or adjustable pressure setting cannot use this model.
