The Comtrend CORJ45-DURJ45-6FT splits one RJ45 connection into two female ports, letting a desktop, laptop, gaming console or printer share a single wired link. It draws power from any USB source such as a wall charger or PC port and requires no driver installation. The all-in-one design integrates the input cable, power lead and splitter body into a compact 0.06 kilogram unit.

Replaces loose cable bundles and extra switch ports

Instead of running multiple long cables or adding a powered switch, this adapter uses the existing drop and a nearby USB socket. The jump is worth it when you have only one wall jack but need two devices online at once, such as a set-top box and a smart TV in the same cabinet. It supports Cat5 through Cat8 cables and negotiates each port at 10, 100 or 1000 megabits per second automatically.

Steady sharing under continuous traffic

Both ports share the 1000 megabit per second aggregate bandwidth with no crosstalk between the two cable groups, so sustained file transfers or streaming on one device do not corrupt the other's signal. The enclosed insulation module and mechanical welding keep contact resistance low during extended use. Power must remain connected; the splitter stops passing traffic the moment the USB supply is removed.
