16 GB DDR4 2400 MHz SODIMM upgrades Dell Latitude 14 5480, 5490, 5495 and 7490 to 32 GB maximum
This 16GB DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM module is built for Dell Latitude 14 5480, 5490, 5495 and 7490 laptops. It uses a 260-pin unbuffered non-ECC design running at 1.2V with CL17 timings. The single stick adds 16GB of system memory in one slot.
Buyers with other laptop models or desktop systems cannot use this SODIMM form factor. Users requiring ECC error correction or registered memory should look elsewhere. The module does not support speeds above DDR4 2400 or capacities beyond 16GB per stick.
The laptop accepts two modules so a second stick can bring the system to 32GB maximum. No heat spreader is fitted so clearance inside the chassis is minimal. Installation only needs access to the memory compartment and a compatible DDR4 2400 controller.

Yes, the module fits a 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM slot; your Latitude 14 5480 has two such slots and supports up to 32 GB total.
The system will run both sticks at the lowest common speed and latency; the original stick stays usable but overall timing drops to CL17.
Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or a tool like CPU-Z; the memory section should report 16 GB, DDR4-2400 and 17-17-17 timings.
