Computer Memory Solutions
8GB kit of two DDR3 1333MHz CL7 SODIMM modules built for the Acer Aspire 5742Z-4685 notebook
This kit provides two 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMM modules totalling 8GB. They run at 1333MHz with a CL7 latency and 1.5V voltage. The memory is unbuffered, non-ECC and uses a 204-pin form factor. It is built specifically for the Acer Aspire 5742Z series notebook.
The two modules fill both memory slots in the supported laptop. Buyers whose systems require ECC or registered memory cannot use this kit. It is also unsuitable for any machine that does not accept 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMMs or that is limited to a lower maximum capacity.
The modules use the 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM standard at 1333MHz. If the target laptop uses a different pin count or a different memory generation, the sticks will not seat or function. Verify the slot type before purchase.

No firmware updates apply to DDR3 SODIMM modules and the kit has no heat spreader, so no thermal pads are required.
The 1333 MHz bus is the primary throughput ceiling; CL7 timing only affects access delay within that bus limit.
Each module runs at standard 1.5 V DDR3 voltage with no heat spreader, so heat output stays at typical low-power SODIMM levels.
