4GB DDR3 1066MHz SODIMM module for Lenovo ThinkPad X201 series laptops
This 4GB DDR3 SODIMM is built for Lenovo ThinkPad X201, X201 Tablet, X201I and X201S laptops. It installs directly into the 204-pin slot without configuration changes. The module runs at 1066MHz with CL7 timing at 1.5V. It adds a single 4GB stick to a supported system.
Buyers whose laptop is not among the four listed ThinkPad models cannot rely on guaranteed compatibility. Systems that require ECC or registered memory will not work with this unbuffered non-ECC stick. Machines limited to a lower maximum module capacity or a different DDR generation will not accept this upgrade.
The module is a 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM rated at PC3-8500 1066MHz. Only laptops that explicitly support this pin count, voltage and speed will boot correctly with it installed.

Yes — it is validated for the X201, X201 Tablet, X201i and X201s models listed in the compatibility data.
The system will clock both modules to the lowest common speed and latency, so the faster stick simply operates at the slower stick's settings.
Open Task Manager or the BIOS memory screen; both should report 4 GB total capacity for the new module.
