16 GB DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 SODIMM upgrade for ThinkPad E470, E475 and E480 laptops
This 16 GB DDR4-2400 module is built for Lenovo ThinkPad E470, E475 and E480 laptops. It uses a 260-pin SO-DIMM form factor, runs at 1.2 V and carries CL17 latency. The kit contains a single unbuffered, non-ECC stick.
The package supplies one 16 GB module, so a second slot remains open for a future upgrade. The system maximum is 32 GB across two sockets, allowing you to add another identical stick later if required.
Confirm the laptop is a ThinkPad E470, E475 or E480 and that at least one SO-DIMM slot is vacant. The module is 2Rx8 rank and non-ECC; systems needing ECC or a different rank configuration will not be compatible.

The module uses a fixed 2Rx8 organisation with major-brand chips and carries a lifetime exchange warranty from Computer Memory Solutions; no firmware updates apply to the memory itself.
Sustained operation is bounded by the JEDEC 1.2 V DDR4 specification and the laptop’s thermal design; the memory has no heat spreader, so the platform’s cooling becomes the limiting factor.
At 1.2 V the module draws only the standard DDR4 power for its capacity and speed, and without a spreader it relies on the system’s existing airflow, adding minimal thermal load.
