16 GB DDR3 kit with two 8 GB unbuffered DIMMs running at 1600 MHz CL11 for select HP Pavilion 500 desktops
This 16GB kit contains two 8GB DDR3 DIMMs built for HP Pavilion 500-046, 500-047C, 500-054, 500-056 and 500-089 desktops. It runs at 1600 MHz with CL11 timings at 1.5V. The modules are unbuffered, non-ECC and use a 240-pin interface.
Buyers whose motherboards only accept 8GB maximum should look elsewhere. Systems requiring ECC or registered memory cannot use this kit. Laptops and small-form-factor PCs needing SO-DIMMs are not supported.
The kit fits standard 240-pin DDR3 desktop slots operating at 1600 MHz. If your board uses a different pin count, voltage or memory generation, these modules will not install or function.

Yes, the kit uses standard 240-pin DDR3 DIMMs that match the desktop slots in the listed Pavilion 500 models.
Align each notch with the slot key, press down firmly until both side clips click, and install one stick per channel for dual-channel operation.
DDR3 memory has no moving parts and rarely fails; replacement is only needed if a stick becomes defective or you upgrade the platform.
