The included US9 stand and 6 ft USB cable allow quick switching between hands-free and handheld operation. Sustained scanning performance

The imager delivers a 51 degree horizontal by 39.4 degree vertical field of view with pitch tolerance of ±65 degree and yaw tolerance of ±60 degree, so barcodes are captured reliably even when presented at steep angles. A minimum print contrast ratio of 15% ensures consistent reads on low-contrast labels. The scanner withstands a 1.80 m drop to concrete, maintaining accuracy after repeated impacts in fast-paced lanes. Motion-detection mode enables continuous hands-free scanning without operator intervention.

USB 2.0 interface limits

Connectivity is provided by a single USB 2.0 interface that supplies both power and data through the included straight cable. Bandwidth is limited to the USB 2.0 specification, so very high-volume batch uploads may take longer than on faster bus standards. The corded design removes battery-management overhead but restricts the operator to the cable length. No wireless, Bluetooth or proprietary host interfaces are supported by this model.
