The Chief CPA096 is a 96 inch black mounting column designed for professional AV installations. It connects to compatible pin-connection ceiling plates using dual thread-forming screws at each end. Cable Routing and Structural Design

Fasteners anchor into factory pre-drilled holes without passing through the column centre, leaving a clear path for cable pass-through. The grooved outer surface acts as a drill guide when the column is cut to length or re-drilled on site. The aluminium construction supports the rated 227 kg load in normal ceiling-mount use. No active cooling or power draw is involved.

Flexible Inventory and Threading Options

The column ships in pre-cut lengths with three pre-drilled through-holes at each end and can be shortened, re-drilled or threaded to 1.5 inch NPT to match field conditions. It works with dedicated pin-connection plates such as the CPA261 and CPA262 models. Installers who need a fixed, non-adjustable drop length should verify the required size before ordering.
