This T-Adapter connects a 35mm DSLR or SLR camera directly to the rear cell of Celestron EdgeHD 9.25, 11 and 14 optical tubes. It provides a secure, stable connection that transforms the telescope into a prime-focus imaging system for astrophotography. The accessory is built with durable materials to ensure long-lasting performance and reliability during imaging sessions.

Prime focus requires separate T-Ring

The adapter threads onto the telescope rear cell but cannot mount a camera alone; a model-specific T-Ring for your 35mm camera body is also required. Without the T-Ring, there is no mechanical or optical link between the camera and the adapter. This two-part requirement is a fixed constraint of the prime-focus photography method used with these telescopes.

Upgrades from eyepiece projection

Moving from eyepiece-projection or afocal methods to prime focus removes extra glass from the light path, reducing vignetting and improving sharpness for lunar, planetary and deep-sky work. The jump is worthwhile when you want the telescope's native focal length and maximum light throughput for serious imaging. It does not replace the need for a guidescope and mount tracking during long-exposure deep-sky sessions.
