Optical tube, mount and daily workflow

The optical tube uses a Schmidt-Cassegrain design with EdgeHD correction for flat-field performance. StarSense AutoAlign builds a pointing model from up to 10 alignment stars using the SkyPortal app on a phone or tablet. The StarPointer Pro finder and star diagonal speed up initial targeting. A sturdy tripod and included AC adapter keep the system stable and powered for long sessions. The 1.25-inch accessory format accepts the supplied eyepieces, Barlow lens and filter set without adapters.

Upgrade path and when it matters
