Replacement battery for HYT radios

This Cameron Sino battery replaces the original BL1301 and BL1719 packs used in HYT TC-446S, TC-500S, TC-518, TC-518U, TC-518V, TC-560, TC-580 and TC-585 two-way radios. It delivers 1800mAh at 7.4V for 13.32Wh of energy. The lithium-ion cell includes a fully decoded chip that communicates with the radio exactly like the factory unit.

Upgrade from depleted or ageing packs

When the original battery no longer holds a full shift’s charge or shows swelling, this new cell restores the radio’s rated runtime. The jump is worth it if your current pack drops below usable capacity after a few hours or if the radio shuts down under transmit load. A fresh battery also eliminates the risk of an old pack leaking or overheating during extended use.

Capacity and headroom for daily operations

The 1800mAh rating comfortably handles a typical duty cycle of receive-heavy monitoring with occasional transmit bursts across a standard shift. Runtime shortens when transmit power is set high, when the radio operates in fringe coverage or when temperatures approach the 60°C storage limit. The pack is not suited for continuous high-power transmission or multi-shift use without recharging.
