Purpose & fit

This lithium-thionyl-chloride battery delivers 3.6V and 14.5Ah capacity for Visonic security devices including the MC-S710, MCS-720 and MCS-730 series. It replaces part numbers such as ER34615M, 0-9912-K and 0-102710 in compatible panels and sensors. The cell measures 60.50 x 34.30 x 33.10 mm and is supplied new in black.

Sustained behaviour

Li-SOCl2 chemistry provides a stable voltage plateau throughout most of the discharge cycle, so the connected surveillance unit sees consistent power over months or years of standby operation. The 52.20Wh energy rating supports long intervals between replacements in low-draw alarm applications. Self-discharge remains very low, preserving capacity during storage.

Interface limits

The cell is non-rechargeable and must not be placed in a charging circuit or subjected to reverse current. Maximum continuous current is limited by the internal chemistry, so high-pulse loads may cause voltage sag if the device draws beyond the design envelope. Polarity and physical dimensions must match the host compartment exactly for reliable contact.
