Compatible Li-ion replacement for Icom two-way

This Cameron Sino battery replaces the BP-232 series packs used in Icom IC-F14, IC-F15, IC-F16, IC-F24, IC-F25, IC-F26 and IC-F33 portable radios. It fits a wide range of marine and land-mobile models including the IC-F3011, IC-F3021, IC-F3061, IC-F3161, IC-F3230, IC-F3261, IC-F3360, IC-F4011, IC-F4021, IC-F4061, IC-F4161, IC-F4230, IC-F4261 and IC-F4360 series. The 0.94 Ah lithium-ion cell provides a direct drop-in power source for daily professional use.

Black polymer housing with original-style contacts

The pack uses a black plastic shell moulded to the same outline as the OEM BP-232, BP-232H, BP-232N and BP-232WP batteries, so it seats securely in the radio’s battery rail and locks with the existing latch. Gold-plated contact pads match the factory layout, ensuring reliable electrical connection through vibration, spray and repeated insertion cycles. No adapters or shims are required; the battery clicks into place exactly like the original unit.

Upgrade from depleted or lower-capacity NiMH packs

Users replacing an aged NiMH BP-232 or BP-232H will gain the lighter weight and flatter discharge curve of lithium-ion chemistry without changing chargers that support Li-ion. The jump is worthwhile when longer talk time per shift matters and when the radio’s charger already recognises Li-ion packs. It is not suited for radios that only accept NiMH chemistry or for operators who need a higher-capacity pack than 0.94 Ah.
