Replacement battery for Panasonic Lumix

This lithium-ion cell replaces the Panasonic DMW-BCA7 and Leica BP-DC2 packs used in models such as the Lumix DMC-F1, DMC-FX1 and DMC-FX5 series as well as the Leica D-LUX. It delivers 3.7 V and 700 mAh capacity in a single black unit. The pack is sold new and listed as 100 % OEM compatible.

Slim Li-ion pack with direct-fit contacts

The battery measures 44.44 x 35.92 x 6.44 mm and slides straight into the camera’s native compartment without adapters or soldering. Its flat lithium-ion construction keeps weight low and lets the original battery door close normally. No external charger is included; the cell charges inside the camera or with the manufacturer’s own charger.

Fixed 700 mAh capacity limits extended shoots

At 0.7 Ah the pack stores enough energy for moderate daily use but will require a spare or in-camera recharge during long sessions such as events or travel days. Lithium-ion chemistry self-discharges slowly when stored, yet capacity will gradually fade over repeated cycles. The form factor is locked to the listed models so it cannot serve cameras that use larger or differently keyed batteries.
