Purpose and compatibility

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-ORC700MB is a 3.7 V lithium-ion replacement battery built for the Oricom SC700 Secure 700 baby monitor. It restores power to the original handset so parents can continue monitoring without tethering the unit to a wall outlet. The cell arrives new and is fully OEM-compatible with the SC700 and Secure 700 models.

Capacity and headroom

Rated at 1.8 Ah and 6.66 Wh, the pack supplies enough energy for extended portable use during naps or overnight checks. Typical talk and standby cycles on the SC700 are covered comfortably, while continuous screen-on time will drain the cell faster and require recharging. The single 1800 mAh cell cannot support multi-day operation without a top-up.

Thermals, noise and power draw

As a passive Li-ion cell the battery generates no audible noise and adds negligible heat during normal discharge. Operating voltage stays at 3.7 V nominal with no active cooling required. The compact 50.16 x 35.64 x 10.20 mm form factor fits the original compartment without obstructing vents or adding measurable thermal load to the monitor.
