Cable Matters
A 1U 19-inch rack-mount panel holds 24 keystone jacks for mixed media connections and includes a rear cable management bar with numbered ports
The Cable Matters 1U panel accepts 24 standard keystone jacks for audio, video and data connections. It fits 19 racks, cabinets or wall-mount brackets with 1.75 inch standard height. The blank design lets you mix HDMI, RJ45, RG6, 3.5 mm, USB, fibre and other keystone types in one panel. Sturdy powder-coated steel construction includes stamped port numbers and writable label spaces.
This panel replaces fixed-configuration patch panels that lock you into a single connector type. The jump is worth it when you need to consolidate voice, data, video, stereo, coax and fibre cables in one location. You can add or upgrade individual cables without purchasing a new patch panel. It is not for installers who require pre-terminated ports or a panel with integrated keystones already installed.
Mount the panel in a 19 rack or on a wall bracket using the 1U profile. The integrated cable management bar includes sequential port labels and 45 C-shaped keyholes for zip ties to secure cables. Rear support bar handles the weight of 24 cables. Common issues include misaligned keystone snap-in if the jack dimensions vary slightly, and limited space behind the panel for thick cable bundles.

Yes, the 1U height of 1.75 inches matches standard 19-inch rack and wall-mount bracket spacing, so it mounts directly without adapters.
Route each cable through one of the 24 C-shaped keyholes on the bar and fasten with a zip tie; skipping this step leaves cables hanging loose and blocks the label view.
Yes, each of the 24 ports accepts a standard keystone insert, so you simply unclip the old jack and snap in a new one of the same footprint.
