A single-port Cat6 wall plate provides a clean female-to-female RJ45 connection for home or office networks. The tool-less design lets you plug a patch cable into the front and a permanent run into the back without punch-down tools. Tool-less connection and removable jacks

The tool-less adapter eliminates the need for a punch-down tool, so you simply insert cables on both sides to complete the link. Jacks are removable, which allows future upgrades or replacements without removing the entire wall plate from the box. Screws are supplied in the package, and the unit is backwards compatible with Cat5 and Cat5e cabling. Low-voltage mounting brackets are available separately under the same product line.

Check box depth and cable type before ordering

Verify that your existing outlet box has enough depth to accommodate the keystone mechanism and the cables bending behind it. Confirm that the in-wall cable run is terminated with an RJ45 plug or that you are prepared to fit one, because the rear connection is a standard jack, not a screw terminal. This plate provides a single port only, so it will not serve locations that require multiple network drops. The black colour may not match white or decorator-style wall plates already installed.
