Two-port USB 2.0 header splitter

This cable splits a single 9-pin motherboard header into two 9-pin connectors so you can run two front-panel USB ports or internal hubs from one header. It is aimed at builders who need extra internal USB 2.0 connections without adding a controller card. The pack contains two identical 16 cm cables and a piece of self-adhesive tape for securing them inside the case. It works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS.

Passive copper links draw negligible power

The cables are passive copper assemblies rated for 480 Mbps, so they add no active circuitry and no measurable heat or noise to the system. Power delivery remains whatever the motherboard header already supplies, and the short 16 cm length keeps voltage drop minimal. There are no fans, LEDs or controllers that could generate audible noise or thermal load. Normal use is completely silent and thermally invisible.

Sleeved 16 cm cables with adhesive mounting

Each cable uses a black sleeved jacket that resists snagging and keeps the internal wiring tidy behind the motherboard tray. The male-to-female 9-pin connectors are keyed to match standard USB 2.0 headers, and the 16 cm reach suits most ATX and micro-ATX layouts. The included self-adhesive tape lets you anchor the split point to a flat surface so cables do not drift into fan paths. Builders who need longer runs or right-angle connectors will need a different cable.
