What this adapter does

The BUCIER DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 1.4 adapter converts a DisplayPort male source signal to an HDMI female output for monitors, projectors or TVs. It supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30Hz and 1920x1080 at 60Hz, plus 1280x1024, 1600x1200 and 720p. Audio pass-through is included and the gold-plated connector resists corrosion.

Check your ports and direction before ordering

This is a uni-directional passive adapter that only works from a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. It will not function with an HDMI source such as a Fire TV Stick or Xbox, nor with a monitor that only accepts DisplayPort input. Verify your computer or laptop has a DisplayPort 1.2 output and your screen has an HDMI 1.4 input before purchasing.

Thermals noise and power in normal use
