Label tape for P‑Touch printers

Brother TZE131 is a 1/2 inch by 7.9 metre laminated tape that prints black text on a clear background. It fits the PT‑H100, PT‑D200, PT‑1230PC, PT‑2030AD, PT‑2030VP, PT‑P700, PT‑P750W, PT‑2730, PR‑2730VP, PT‑H300, PT‑H300LI and PT‑H500LI label makers. Offices and retailers use it for file folders, binders, name badges and small signage.

Laminated adhesive construction

The tape has a laminated surface that resists water, grease, grime, fading and abrasion and can be wiped clean. Standard adhesive backing bonds to paper, plastic and metal surfaces in daily handling. The clear substrate lets the underlying material show through while the black print remains legible. No special mounting hardware is required beyond the printer’s built‑in cutter.

Compatibility limits

The cartridge works only with the P‑Touch models listed in the specifications; it will not feed or print in other label makers. Length is fixed at 7.9 metres, so high‑volume users will need multiple cartridges. The 1/2 inch width suits narrow labels but cannot produce wider formats such as shipping labels or large signage. Buyers who need wider tapes or longer continuous rolls must choose a different cartridge.
