The Brother PT-E110 arrives as a complete kit with a carrying case for electricians and technicians who need durable identification on the job site. It prints laminated labels that resist abrasion, chemicals, moisture, extreme temperatures and fading. The handheld unit weighs less than 1 lb and includes a wrist strap for drop prevention when working at height. No computer connection is required for operation.

Tape capacity and print limits

The printer accepts HGe and TZe cassettes in 3.5 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm widths with a 26.2 ft tape length. Maximum print resolution is 180 dpi at 20 mm per second on a 15 character by 1 line LCD (128 x 16 graphic) without backlight. It prints up to two lines with a 9.0 mm maximum height and stores nine labels in memory. Auto-increment and auto-numbering handle up to 50 alphanumeric characters per sequence.

Upgrade path and when to choose it

This model replaces handwritten markers or basic office label makers that cannot survive harsh environments. The jump is worth it when you need industrial-grade laminated output, built-in cable-wrap and faceplate templates, and serialization for asset tracking. It is not suited for users who require PC connectivity, backlit displays, colour printing or continuous high-volume production.
