This BONAEVER pack contains three detectors that combine an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor with an infrared photoelectric smoke sensor. Each unit monitors for both hazards simultaneously. The LCD screen shows real-time CO concentration only when gas or smoke is detected, conserving battery life. A built-in test button activates a ten-second silent mode to quiet nuisance alarms.

Battery-powered operation sets the practical limits

The detectors run on replaceable batteries rather than mains wiring, so they function during power cuts but require periodic cell changes. A low-battery warning alerts you when voltage drops. The LCD remains dark until a detection event occurs, which extends runtime but means you cannot read ambient CO levels on demand. Placement must follow local guidelines for ceiling or wall mounting.

Screw or adhesive mounting takes minutes

Installation uses the supplied hardware or adhesive pads; no electrician is needed. Common issues include mounting too close to kitchens or bathrooms where steam triggers false alarms, forgetting to test monthly, and delaying battery replacement after the low-power chirp starts. The test/silence button quiets nuisance alerts for ten seconds but does not disable the sensors.
