Dual-connector SD reader for USB-A and micro-USB OTG

This BONAEVER adapter combines a standard USB 2.0 Type-A plug and a micro-USB Type-B plug in one compact unit. It targets photographers and mobile users who need to move files between cameras, Android phones with OTG support, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. The dual-slot design accepts full-size SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC and RS-MMC cards as well as microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards including UHS-I variants.

Verify host ports and OTG support before ordering

Your computer must provide a free USB-A port, while mobile devices need a micro-USB port that explicitly supports USB On-The-Go. Android 4.0 or later is required on the phone or tablet side. No drivers are needed for Windows XP through 10, Mac OS X 10.4.6 or later, or compatible Android releases, but the host must supply sufficient bus power for the inserted card.

Lightweight moulded housing with fixed cables

The reader’s plastic body integrates both connectors on short, non-detachable leads so nothing gets lost in a camera bag. Inserting a card seats it flush with the slot edges, letting you leave the adapter plugged into a laptop while travelling. Because the micro-USB end follows the legacy OTG pinout, it will not fit USB-C phones or devices lacking OTG capability, limiting use to older Android hardware.
