The Boardwalk BWK1348 is a 48-inch cotton dust mop head built for wide-area floor cleaning. Its ten-ply hygrade cotton construction and cut-end style pick up dust efficiently across hard surfaces. The slot-pocket design with synthetic backing allows quick attachment to a compatible frame. Handle and frame are sold separately.

Suited For Large Hard Floors

Facilities with long hallways, gymnasiums or open retail spaces will appreciate the 48-inch coverage that reduces passes. The quick-drying cotton resists mildew between uses. Buyers needing a complete mop with handle included should look elsewhere, as only the head is supplied. Those requiring looped-end or microfibre heads for finer particle capture will need a different product.

Capacity And Headroom

The 48-inch by 5-inch head covers broad swathes of flooring in a single sweep, cutting labour time on expansive areas. Ten-ply cotton holds a substantial dust load before requiring shake-out or laundering. On heavily soiled or wet surfaces the cut-end cotton saturates faster and will not absorb liquids like a wet mop. Very tight corners or narrow aisles may remain out of reach for this wide head.
