Eight bi-directional SDI channels for multi-camera

The DeckLink Quad 2 installs in an 8-lane PCIe slot and presents eight 12-bit SD/HD/3G-SDI connectors that can be independently set as inputs or outputs. Each channel handles resolutions up to 1080p60 and supports both uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video as well as compressed formats such as ProRes and DNxHD. The card runs on Mac, Windows and Linux and includes Media Express software for capture and media management.

Independent channel configuration sustains mixed

Because every SDI port is independently switchable, the card can simultaneously record several camera feeds while playing back graphics or replay clips without reconfiguring the hardware. The 8-lane PCIe interface provides the bandwidth needed to keep all eight streams moving at 1080p60, so sustained multi-channel ingest and playout remain stable during long sessions.

Replaces multiple single-channel cards in one slot

This card consolidates up to eight separate capture or playback devices into a single expansion slot, reducing cabling and driver complexity for broadcast trucks, studio control rooms and post-production suites.
